Ron Chan was born and raised in Portland, OR and works as a freelance Cartoonist, Storyboard Artist, and Illustrator. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2005, and is now a member of the Portland-based art collective, Helioscope. In comics, he has been published by Dark Horse, Marvel, and Image Comics, and is best known for his art on Plants vs Zombies. Storyboarding work of his includes boards for advertising, user experience design, 3D animation, and gaming, for clients such as Microsoft, Dell, Amazon Kindle, Nike, Konami, and Sega.
In his free time, Ron likes to play video games, watch anime, and occasionally get his butt whupped at jiu-jitsu class.
