The Portland Opera invited a bunch of us comic artists in Portland for an event called Comic Artist Night @ The Opera. We were invited to sit in on a dress rehearsal of their current production of Pagliacci / Carmina Buriana, and do live sketching while it was happening. I did a lot of drawing in those few hours, and the performance was awesome. I highly recommend anyone go see it, even if you’ve never been to the opera. (It was my first.) Good times!
