Ron Chan was born and raised in Portland, OR and works as a freelance Cartoonist, Storyboard Artist, and Illustrator. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2005, and is now a member of the Portland-based art collective, Periscope Studio. His comics work has been published by Dark Horse, Marvel, Image, Virgin, and Viper Comics. Storyboarding work of his includes boards for 3D animation, gaming, internal development, user experience design, and advertising, for clients such as Microsoft, Dell, Amazon Kindle, Nike, Konami, and Sega.

Supersized: Strange Tales From A Fast Food Culture: Penciler and Inker for 9 short stories, spanning 31 pages, of this anthology by Dark Horse Comics.

MySpace Dark Horse Presents: I created and illustrated an 8-page story called "Tobb: The Sling!" for issue #34 of MDHP for Dark Horse Comics.

X-Men: To Serve and Protect : Penciler for an 8-page story entitled "Gold, Guns, Girls" on issue #2 for Marvel Comics.

Models Inc.: Penciler for pages 10-17 on issue #4 for Marvel Comics.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: Penciler and Inker on issue #42 for Dark Horse Comics.

Microsoft : Storyboard artist for internal development and hardware design. Specializing in illustrating User Experience scenarios, with experience in XBox, Zune, Windows Phone and more.

Pendulum Studios: Worked on storyboarding and concept art for 3-D animation. Guy Ritchie's Gamekeeper, Series Two: A 5-issue miniseries I drew for Virgin Comics. Written by Jeff Parker, with layouts by Ron Randall.

Flytrap: A series of stories written by Sara Ryan. The first episode was illustrated by the great Steve Lieber, but I have since taken the reins for episodes two and three.

A Dummy's Guide to Danger, Series One: Penciler, Inker, and Colorist for this is a 4-issue miniseries for Viper Comics, written by Jason M. Burns.
