The weekly sketch topic over at the Periscope Tumblr isn’t as active as it used to be, but I had to take the opportunity to draw art for this weeks topic, Underground, a spelunking thriller comic by Jeff Parker and Steve Lieber, colored by myself!

The sketch topic this week is the brilliant webcomic by Jeff Parker and Erika Moen: Bucko! Bucko, as described by Jeff and Erika, is a dick and fart murder mystery. It’s hilarious, and you should go read it at www.buckocomic.com.

Here are some storyboards I did for the PS3/XBox 360/Wii game Thor: God of Thunder. As usual, I worked with the fine folks at Studio Pendulum to create these game cinematic storyboards. Click Thor’s face below to see the finished video and more beautiful renders by Pendulum!

EDIT:  MORE THOR! While I was working on these storyboards, I took a break to start this movie-version Thor drawing below. Since it’s Thor week on the Periscope Studio Tumblr, I went ahead and finished it up and added some quick color!

For this week’s Periscope Tumblr topic we’re doing superhero fashion disasters! There are a lot of terrible superhero outfits out there, but I think one of the most well known and worst offenders would be Electro.
